More than $750,000 in sales revenue in less than two days is music to the ears of any business person, Canadian analysts say. Giving away your product for free and charging $300 for it at the same time might not sound like a great business plan, but it is one strategy that is seeing a lot of success with musical artists. Alternative rock band Nine Inch Nails (NIN) circumvented the usual middle-man with the release of their latest album, the four-volume “Ghosts”, on their Web site earlier this week. NIN is using a free sample approach by uploading the first volume of the new album to file-sharing torrent Web sites like The Pirate Bay . read more

There are three popular ways of making money through blogging and you can find them right here.

The first one is through advertisement. For instance you’re already writing blogs. Now, in order to make money, you must get advertisements. Once your blogs are popular, more and more visitors will checkout your blog. Because of the popularity of your blogs, you will soon receive offers for advertisements from companies and product brands. The companies will then pay you for the advertisements. In most cases, you will be advertising products and services that are related to your blogs.

The second is by writing reviews. While you’re writing a blog, you can also write reviews. You can earn more money by blogging about services, products, and popular companies. Since business owners want to popularize their names, they will offer you to write reviews about their products and brands.

The reviews should be positive so that more people are attracted to the said products or services. It must be able to generate an optimistic impression. If you’re a popular and experienced blogger, more and more companies will request you to write reviews about them.

The third way to earn money is to do blogging and get paid. There are organizations as well as individuals who are willing to shell out money and pay for the blogs you make. Now, the blogs you will be asked to write may be about their products or services. Hired bloggers are increasing in numbers all over the world.

Through the blogs, certain products or services can create a big buzz. Those that hire bloggers will benefit a lot and they can create goodwill and excellent promotions. If you’re a hired blogger, you will periodically receive hundreds or thousands through your blogs. Isn’t that a good way to earn money without leaving the comforts of your home?

Advertisements, writing reviews, and getting paid for blogging are the three most popular ways of earning money through blogging. If you want, you can combine any of the three so that you can increase your earnings. However, this may be difficult to achieve especially if you’re a beginner.

You must continue learning so that you can become an expert blogger. There are no specific requirements for bloggers. As long as you know how to write effective blogs and you have the right attitude, you will become successful in this field.

A lot of home based people are now into blogging. This is an excellent way to make money even when you’re at home. As long as you have an internet connection and you know your way around the net, you can become a successful and highly paid blogger.

Determine the right money making option that will work for you. You can try them one by one and see which one works for you and let you earn money. You must have a plan of action so that you will know that you’re on the right track. Give yourself enough time to test the waters. Online Marketing: The Power of Using Video

Site Promotion | Comments (0) essmeier @ 12:00 am

In just a decade or so, the Internet has become the place to do commerce. The Internet is affordable, readily accessible to the public, and reaches a large segment of the population. All manner of businesses, both large and small, are using the Internet to make sales. The competition is fierce, however, and savvy marketers are always looking for better ways to reach potential customers. If you are trying to find a way to separate your business from that of your competition, you might want to consider a hot new tool: video.

Lots of business Websites consist only text and graphics and make their sales pitches using descriptions of what their products can do for their customers. For many products, a text description and a photo of the product is sufficient. For other types of products, customers might be more inclined to buy if they could actually see what the product does.

If, for example, you are selling a piece of software, you might devote a page of text that explains what the software does and how easy it is to use. For many customers, that might be sufficient, but others might benefit more if you could show them exactly how to use the software and demonstrate to them exactly how easily they can use your product.

Creating video used to be a difficult and cumbersome process that involved cameras and expensive and difficult to use editing software. With the introduction of Camtasia and other similar products, creating videos that capture the information on your computer screen couldn’t possibly be easier. With these tools, you can plug in a microphone, start recording, and simply type or use your mouse to demonstrate whatever it is you want your customers to see on your computer screen. The built in editing functions in the video software make it possible to zoom, add subtitles or blur out portions of the screen that you don’t want your customers to see. Then you can export the finished product in a number of different formats and upload it to your Website.

There are several advantages to using video in addition to text on a Website:

Visitors can see the product in action, rather than just read about it

People who do not read well or who get lost in technical descriptions might find video easier to follow.

A thorough demonstration video might answer questions the customers might have about the product that would otherwise have to be answered by tech support or customer service representatives.

Thanks to the introduction of easy to use screen capture video software, making sales presentations using video is easier than ever. The better your customers understand your products, the more likely they are to buy them.

5 Top Blogging Tips for Freelancers

Internet Marketing | Comments (0) jjarrett @ 12:00 am

If you’re a freelancer who’s looking to get your business started, or a freelancer looking for more business, then blogging might just be for you.

Although blogging may not help you see business immediately, it can help you fill the gap in your income because while you’re promoting your business, you can also promote affiliate programs, as well as sell advertising. It’s also an easy way to make money with Google Adsense or some other contextual advertising. Just make sure your competitors aren’t showing up on your blog.

By offering other resources related to your your business, it gives you a more extensive product line, as well as more solutions you can offer your readers. You don’t want to be all things to all people; this will prevent you from targeting your market. However, you do want to offer as many solutions as possible for your readers so that you can better meet their specific needs.

Now, your first step in getting started blogging and earning extra money is that you want to select your blog platform. There are a wide variety of blog platforms available to you. When choosing your platform compare the features of the different blog platforms to see which suits your needs best.

Here are five tips for helping you get your message across, connect with your readers, and sell more of your services:

1. Check your presentation. Presentation is as much about how your blog looks as what it says. You want to make your blog as easy to read as possible. Although one background might look pretty cool, remember that you’re basically offering a business blog. Black type on a white background is easiest to read. This doesn’t mean that you can’t make your overall background something else. Just make the format easy to read.

2. Pay attention to your navigation. Make it clear, and make it consistent throughout your blog. You also want to make it easier for your readers to find what they’re looking for. Although it may seem boring to have the same menu throughout, it is easier for your readers to find what they want.

3. Check your links. This is related to the last tip, except that it deals with content. When adding links to your menu, make sure that the links you add are complementary, especially if you are linking to other blogs.

4. Create interesting content. The choices you have in creating content are almost limitless. As a freelancer, you should be an expert on your topic but honest enough to admit you don’t know everything. Include videos you’ve found, interesting news stories related to your industry, comment on other blogs, as well as writing your own articles and blog posts.

5. Proofread your entries. Let’s face it. We all make mistakes. You won’t get every post right every time. If you’re a freelancer though, especially a writer, you won’t establish much credibility if you can’t even handle the basics, like spelling and grammar.

Blogs are a great way for freelancers to get more business. You can do that by considering your reader. Make yourself different and offer your readers a reason to come back. You won’t have any trouble finding new customers.

Google AdWords - Earn Money on the Internet From Your Campaign

Pay Per Click | Comments (0) 24hourwealth @ 12:00 am

Earning money on the internet often means advertising. When it comes to return on investment, pay per click advertising is one of the most effective methods to generate traffic to your website.

Frequently, those who click on pay per click ads are in the buying rather than browsing category. There are numerous pay per click platforms out there, but Google AdWords is the most popular.

Why use pay per click? If your are not showing up for some important keywords or if your site is entirely commercial and offers little or no content then pay per click is an advertising model that you may want to consider.

Google AdWords enables advertisers to place their ads in the right hand column of search results, instead of offering placement in the organic search engine results. It allows work at home sellers to reach their target market in other networks (search networks) such as Ask.com, AOL, and Netscape.

While Google AdWords is a handy tool for marketers who want to increase their conversion rate, like all tools, it has to be used properly if it is to be effective. You need to manage your ad campaign carefully if you want success with Google AdWords. This means carefully paying attention to the following elements.

Keyword Selection: You want to choose relevant keywords that your buyer might use but they also have to accurately reflect your website’s offer. As a general rule, it is recommended that you avoid using broad or vague keywords.

For instance, if you sell skiing equipment avoid the keyword “skiing.” These types of keywords will not help you earn money on the internet or working online, because users who search with these types of keywords are in the browsing phase. You want to attract serious buyers. Thus, keyword phrases and keyword variations such as “red skiing outfit” or “red skiing outfits” will be more effective.

Proper keyword selection requires research. There are quite a few keyword research tools available. Most work from home marketers use nichebot.com which charges a monthly fee and Keyword Elite which only charges a one time fee.

Keyword bidding: Bidding can get out hand, when it comes to Google AdWords. You need to carefully consider your budget and your business goal. Believe it or not bidding on the top spot can hurt your campaign more than help it.

Studies show that internet users click the number one spot out of impulse not necessarily because they are interested in your offer. So while you may receive a great deal of visitors you’re not receiving quality visitors that is-people who want to buy. The third, forth or even fifth position are more effective if you want to earn money on the internet or working online.

Writing ad copies for selected keywords: Your ad has to be compelling and clearly spell out the benefits of visiting your site. You only get a few seconds to convince someone to click on your ad so make sure your ad is concise, avoids repetition and identifies what is unique about your offer.

Google AdWords can greatly improve your conversion rate, if you take the time to research relevant keywords for your site and write an ad copy that entices the reader to click on your ad.

Strengthen Your Site Through A Network Of Links

Link Popularity | Comments (0) Bullhunter @ 12:00 am

Most internet marketers have their own website through which they promote their wares in the online marketplace. But the main criterion which determines how successful they are in this endeavour is traffic.

But the fact remains that however fabulous your products are and however desirable the price is, you won’t sell many units if you don’t get the traffic you need.

One of the big secrets to getting a continuous stream of traffic is to make sure you have a strong site. By this I mean that you work on creating a network on incoming and outgoing links to and from your site. This creates a web of links that the search engine spiders, love and they will give your site an even higher page ranking the more of them they find.

Links not only mean your site will be found and updated more often by the search engines, they also ensure you will receive visitors from plenty of different sources. Of course some links will be more productive than others; one link may bring in a dozen or so visitors a week, whereas another one may bring in twice as many as that on a daily basis.

It’s really a question of making sure that you work on putting in as many links as possible, working on the same principle that if you throw enough mud some of it is bound to stick.

Outgoing links are the easiest for you to control as it’s up to you to make them happen. Look for quality websites that are related to yours and deal with the same subject. It’s better to link to a popular website than a small one, but overall it’s the quality that really matters, so make sure you take a proper look round before you link to it.

Inbound links require a little more thought. One of the best ways to achieve them is to write a series of articles on the same subject as your website and post them to the most popular article directories. Make sure you include a link back to your website at the end of each piece.

If you do this on a regular basis you will be creating a network of articles and links that people will follow to reach your website. You only need to get a handful of articles picked up and published elsewhere to create more opportunities for people to make those links active and link back to your site.

You can also enter into agreements with other webmasters with similar sites to yours, and agree to link to each other’s site. This will help both of you and it will attract the attention of the search engine spiders for all the right reasons.

One final point - it’s worth checking all your links from time to time to ensure that you weed out any dead or broken ones. Not only are these unnecessary and better off removed, but they can also be annoying to visitors who are trying to find information you have recommended to them.
